I’ve explored several aspects of a tragic and magic life, because I believe life is full of both. It is our choice to seek out magic and grow from the tragic, not dwell in it.
Under the “blog” tab, you’ll find a miscellaneous library of lifestyle posts. In my efforts to seek magic everyday, I think that the everyday should be documented and cherished just as much as our life changing events. We have to choose to see magic in the small things: like a good iced coffee, our lifelong friendships, the way your partner looks at you in the early morning light, cheese.
I believe we all carry a certain amount of magic within us, and it is a shame to keep it locked up. Luckily, we’ve been given several role models who use their magic for good, and for bad, which is something I love to explore. The blog posts you’ll find in “The Tragic and The Magic” capture the tension between tragic and magic, while seeking to find the good in all things.
My “Dream Big” project explores the tragic and magical effects of each princess’s feminist role. As young girls and boys biggest role models and influences, it’s important to be aware of the type of impact each heroine has. Who should we celebrate and imitate? And who should we learn to be better than? Head over to the Dream Big tab to find out!
I hope you leave here with a little more magic than you came in with!
